Creators HQ and TikTok strengthen regional talent pipeline with UAE creator bootcamp

UAE creator bootcamp

Creators HQ and TikTok have successfully concluded the second edition of the #CreatorsHQxTikTok regional bootcamp, a four-day intensive training programme aimed at accelerating content creation skills across the Middle East and North Africa region.

Held from June 16 to 19 at Creators HQ—the UAE’s first dedicated creator hub under the Visioneers content development ecosystem—the initiative reflects growing momentum in the region’s fast-expanding creator economy.

The bootcamp, delivered through a strategic partnership between the two organisations, is designed to help both emerging and established creators transition from hobbyist content production into structured, sustainable digital careers. The programme arrives at a time when demand for professional digital skills, platform expertise, and high-quality content production continues to surge across the region.

Participants underwent a structured curriculum combining theory and hands-on practice across five core areas: TikTok content fundamentals, content strategy, visual storytelling, advanced production techniques, and digital safety. Training also focused on audience growth, algorithm understanding, and building a strong personal digital identity.

A key emphasis was placed on the business side of content creation, including monetisation strategies and long-term brand building to support sustainable creator careers.

Hussein Al Atoli, Director of New Media Academy, said the second edition builds on the success of the inaugural programme by connecting creators directly with experts from one of the world’s fastest-growing digital platforms. He noted the initiative aligns with the UAE’s broader strategy to strengthen its position as a global hub for digital innovation and creative talent.

Keren Haddad, Head of Content Operations at TikTok MENA, highlighted the programme’s role in bridging the gap between casual content creation and professional digital careers, emphasizing practical training in audience engagement, platform mechanics, and content quality.

Workshops throughout the bootcamp catered to creators at different experience levels. Beginners were guided through account setup, content planning, storytelling techniques, trend analysis, and viral content development.

Advanced production sessions were delivered in collaboration with Sukoon Studio, covering professional lighting, framing, sound design, and filming techniques. Participants also explored green-screen production, creative effects, and advanced editing using CapCut.

Additional sessions focused on personal branding, analytics, and performance tracking through TikTok Studio, helping creators better understand data-driven growth strategies and improve their visibility on the platform’s “For You Page.”

Digital safety training formed another core pillar, covering privacy tools, content moderation features, and community guidelines to support safer and more responsible online engagement.

The programme also included sessions with Sociata, offering insights into brand collaborations, influencer marketing standards, and partnership expectations within the creator economy. TikTok LIVE training further introduced participants to monetisation opportunities through live streaming and real-time audience engagement.

To enhance engagement, organisers also hosted competitions and daily challenges throughout the bootcamp, rewarding top-performing participants and fostering an interactive, competitive learning environment over the four-day programme.
