April 2025 — Deloitte Middle East has announced the results of the fourth edition of its Technology Fast 50 programme, celebrating the region’s fastest-growing tech companies and spotlighting innovation across Cyprus and the Middle East.
Marking a significant milestone, this year’s edition received over 200 applications for the first time—a testament to the increasing dynamism and maturity of the region’s startup ecosystem. Saudi Arabia led the rankings with 30% of the listed companies, followed closely by the UAE at 28%, and Cyprus at 16%.
The programme, which ranks tech companies based on their revenue growth over the past four years, reported an average growth rate of 8,823% across the Fast 50 list. Notably, 29 companies surpassed the 1,000% growth mark, up from 21 in the previous edition. The fintech and software sectors continued to dominate the landscape, representing 22% and 31% of the rankings, respectively.
Topping the list was Saudi-based Municorn, which posted a staggering 20,164% growth rate—underscoring the scalability and momentum of standout regional innovators.
“I am thrilled about the companies featured in our listing for their transformative, groundbreaking technologies,” said Kyriacos Charalambides, Deloitte Middle East Partner and Fast 50 Programme Leader. “These entrepreneurs are not only redefining industries but also creating meaningful solutions that will help address the challenges of tomorrow.”
The programme’s Rising Star category, aimed at emerging ventures with high potential, featured strong representation from the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Cypriot and Saudi firms dominated the overall top three rankings.
“The fintech sector in the Middle East is evolving at a rapid pace,” noted Stelios Kyriakides, Partner at Deloitte Cyprus. “We are seeing tech innovators fundamentally reshaping financial services and setting new standards for the industry.”
Diversity also saw progress in this year’s rankings. Women-led businesses accounted for 18% of the listed companies—up from 15% in the previous edition. Deloitte continued to spotlight these ventures through its dedicated Women in Leadership category, reinforcing the firm’s broader commitment to equity and inclusion.
Two new categories debuted this year: Kiyadat, which honours founders who are GCC nationals, and Impact, which recognizes companies driven by Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The Impact category featured a dedicated jury and evaluated participants on excellence, implementation, and measurable outcomes, following a structured pitching format.
This May, Deloitte will hold a number of Fast 50 Connect events throughout the region to honor the winners and promote relationships throughout the ecosystem. The purpose of these events is to increase growth and collaboration prospects by bringing together peers, corporates, and investors.
By showcasing the region’s most promising and high-growth tech ventures, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Middle East and Cyprus’s digital economy.
