DUBAI: Digital Dubai and Emirates Group have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at advancing digital transformation, improving operational efficiency, and expanding the use of shared digital platforms and emerging technologies across the organization.

The collaboration agreement will provide Emirates Group with access to Digital Dubai’s ecosystem of digital services, enablement platforms, and data solutions, while encouraging the exchange of expertise and best practices to enhance employee experience and organizational performance.

The agreement was signed by Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri, Chief Executive of Digital Dubai Government Establishment, and Amira Al Awadhi, Senior Vice President of Human Resources – Operations and Systems at Emirates, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai.

As part of the partnership, both entities will strengthen systems integration, improve data sharing, and promote the adoption of advanced digital services to create a more connected and agile digital ecosystem.

Al Hemeiri said the agreement aligns with Dubai’s vision of building an integrated digital ecosystem through stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors. He noted that the partnership will enable Emirates Group to leverage Digital Dubai’s platforms and capabilities to improve services, enhance operational efficiency, and accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.

The initiative also supports Dubai’s broader strategy to expand the use of shared digital platforms across industries and reinforce the emirate’s position as a leading digital economy.

Oliver Grohmann, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Emirates Group, said the collaboration is designed to improve employee experience by streamlining processes, enabling real-time data access, and reducing operational complexity across the workforce.

He added that the partnership goes beyond efficiency, contributing to Dubai’s long-term vision of building integrated digital foundations that improve the way businesses operate and people interact with services.

Under the agreement, Emirates Group will also benefit from Digital Dubai’s advanced service capabilities and information security standards that align with international best practices.

The partnership reflects Dubai’s ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors while supporting its ambition to become a global hub for digital transformation and innovation.
