LG Unveils OLED W6, Sound Suite and xboom Power in the UAE

OLED W6

LG has introduced three new home-entertainment products in the UAE, bringing together an ultra-thin wireless OLED television, a flexible Dolby Atmos sound system and a high-powered party speaker range.

The products were presented at an event in Dubai, highlighting LG’s latest approach to premium home entertainment. The lineup includes the LG OLED W6 Wallpaper TV, the modular LG Sound Suite, and the xboom Power speaker series.

LG OLED W6 Revives the Wallpaper TV Concept

The centerpiece of the launch is the LG OLED W6, which brings back LG’s Wallpaper TV design in a new wireless configuration.

First showcased at CES 2026, the OLED W6 is available in 77-inch and 83-inch versions. LG describes it as the world’s first certified 4K 165Hz True Wireless TV, with wireless transmission of video and audio between the display and its separate Zero Connect Box.

The television features a panel measuring around 9mm in thickness, allowing it to sit closely against the wall. The Zero Connect Box moves HDMI connections and other inputs away from the display, helping reduce visible cables around the TV.

LG says the box can be positioned up to 10 metres from the television, although the actual wireless range can depend on the room and installation environment. Both the TV and Zero Connect Box still require power, while external devices connect directly to the box.

The W6 also features LG’s Hyper Radiant Colour technology, Brightness Booster Ultra and the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3. According to LG, the television can deliver peak brightness up to 3.9 times higher than a conventional OLED, alongside features such as Perfect Black, Perfect Colour and Reflection Free Premium certification.

Gaming is another major focus. The W6 supports 4K resolution at up to 165Hz, a claimed 0.1ms pixel response time, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, AMD FreeSync Premium and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).

LG UAE currently directs customers to retailers rather than displaying a local AED price on the product page. The website lists 77-inch and 83-inch versions, but a confirmed UAE price was not displayed at the time of checking. Customers should verify availability and final pricing with LG or its authorised UAE retailers.

LG Sound Suite Brings Flexible Dolby Atmos Audio

Alongside the OLED W6, LG introduced its modular Sound Suite, designed to give users greater freedom when positioning speakers around the room.

The system consists of the H7 soundbar, W7 subwoofer, and wireless rear speakers available as the M7 or M5. LG and Dolby say the H7 is the first soundbar to support Dolby Atmos FlexConnect.

The technology is aimed at homes where ideal speaker placement is difficult because of furniture, room layouts or limited space.

Rather than requiring rear speakers to be positioned in perfectly symmetrical locations, Dolby Atmos FlexConnect allows the system to detect the speakers’ positions, map the room and calibrate the audio around the listening area.

This gives users more flexibility when setting up the system. Additional speakers can also be added over time, allowing the audio setup to expand as the user’s needs change.

The approach effectively shifts the focus from designing the room around the speakers to allowing the sound system to adapt to the room.

xboom Power Targets Home Parties and Karaoke

LG’s third launch is the xboom Power range, aimed at users looking for a more powerful entertainment system for parties, social gatherings and karaoke.

Unlike the OLED W6 and Sound Suite, which focus primarily on premium home cinema and viewing experiences, xboom Power is designed around portability, high-volume entertainment and interactive use.

The range is positioned as a way to turn a living room or other gathering space into a party and karaoke setup without requiring a dedicated entertainment venue.

Three Products, Three Different Home-Entertainment Experiences

With the OLED W6, Sound Suite and xboom Power, LG is targeting three distinct areas of the home-entertainment market.

The OLED W6 focuses on minimalist design, wireless connectivity and high-refresh-rate gaming. The Sound Suite addresses the challenge of speaker placement through room-aware Dolby Atmos technology, while xboom Power focuses on parties, music and karaoke.

Together, the new products show LG’s broader push to make premium entertainment systems more adaptable to different living spaces and user needs.
