PropTech Connect Middle East Opens Regional Headquarters in DIFC

Dubai’s push to become a global centre for real estate innovation received another boost as PropTech Connect Middle East announced the opening of its regional office in the Dubai International Financial Centre, with backing from the Dubai Land Department.

The move follows the successful launch of PropTech Connect Middle East 2026, held in Dubai earlier this year, which drew more than 3,000 attendees and over 300 speakers from across the global real estate and technology sectors. The event strengthened Dubai’s reputation as a meeting point for property investment and emerging technologies while creating new opportunities for collaboration among industry stakeholders.

The establishment of the new office reflects Dubai’s wider strategy to build a fully integrated proptech ecosystem that encourages innovation, supports cooperation between regulators and developers, and attracts international technology firms.

Officials said the regional expansion underlines growing global confidence in Dubai’s regulatory framework and investment climate, particularly in sectors linked to digital transformation and smart real estate solutions.

Majid Al Marri said Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a global proptech hub by combining innovation-friendly regulations with strategic partnerships and investment opportunities. He added that the inaugural PropTech Connect Middle East event marked the start of a new phase of international cooperation in real estate innovation.

Meanwhile, Matthew Maltzoff described Dubai as an ideal base for regional expansion, citing the emirate’s clear development vision, supportive business environment, and growing innovation ecosystem.

The announcement also follows the recent PropTech Elevate x REES session hosted by the Dubai PropTech Hub at the DIFC Innovation Hub. The gathering brought together government officials, property leaders, and technology companies to discuss emerging proptech trends and align priorities supporting Dubai’s real estate transformation plans.

Mohammad AlBlooshi said PropTech Connect’s presence in DIFC would strengthen collaboration between investors, innovators, and real estate leaders from across the UAE and the wider Middle East region.

Organisers also confirmed that preparations are underway for the 2027 edition of PropTech Connect Middle East in Dubai, with expectations of attracting more than 4,000 participants and 2,000 proptech companies.

The initiative aligns with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, both of which place innovation and digital transformation at the centre of the emirate’s future economic growth plans.
