High-Level Talks to Expand UAE-US Collaborations
His Majesty During high-level talks with Trump administration officials Monday, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the National Security Advisor and Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, stressed the need of expanding economic and scientific cooperation with the United States.
Strengthening Ties with Tech Giants
Sheikh Tahnoon spoke with senior leaders from top tech companies, such as Microsoft, Amazon, Palantir, Oracle, BlackRock, NVIDIA, and xAI, during his official visit. The gatherings highlight the UAE’s determination to increase its investment presence in the US and cultivate alliances in the fields of advanced technology, energy, infrastructure, life sciences, and artificial intelligence.
Reinforcing Strategic Alliances
The visit also aims to further strengthen the longstanding strategic alliance between the two nations. UAE Ambassador to the US, Yousef Al Otaiba, reaffirmed this commitment, stating, “The US remains our key partner in these and other sectors – we have ambitious plans to do even more in and with the US.”
White House Engagements on Economic Growth
Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, along with Ambassador Al Otaiba, held discussions at the White House with US Vice President JD Vance. The UAE Embassy in the US shared an update on social media, highlighting that the talks focused on deepening collaboration in energy investment, technological leadership, and economic growth.
