What You Can Expect at GITEX 2022 :
Since its inception over forty years ago, GITEX has become a reference point for innovative developments and vital conversations in the tech industry. Last year, GITEX hosted over 4500 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors spanning over 140 countries. GITEX’s global footprint has boosted its recognition as one of the most popular meeting grounds for technology stakeholders and enthusiasts.
This year’s edition will be held between October 10 and 14 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Apart from the broad audience and abundant networking opportunities, GITEX 2022 holds immense value propositions for visitors. Either as a visitor or exhibitor, some of the things to expect at this year’s GITEX edition include:
Engaging Workshops:
GITEX 2022 is set to anchor global discussions on developments in emerging areas like data analytics, artificial intelligence and 5G integration. More importantly, participants will gain access to engaging workshops and training from certified experts. For instance, GITEX 2022 will offer over 15 technical workshops in python programming, NFT development, and UI/UX design. This year’s edition will also feature fourteen conferences with an impressive lineup of global speakers. For instance, His Excellency Omar Sultan Alolama, the UAE’s Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and Aloysius Cheang, Huawei’s Chief Security Officer, have been confirmed as speakers at GITEX 2022. However, these mentions only account for a small proportion of the event’s over 1000 speakers. The workshops and conferences are expected to span over 500 hours.
First-hand Product Exhibitions:
In line with GITEX’s tradition of company exhibitions, this year’s exhibitions will be even bigger, with reputable companies signing up to debut at the event. For instance, Trellix is set to showcase its newly developed XDR architecture at GITEX 2022. Texub has also announced plans to showcase the value propositions of its global B2B marketplace. GITEX 2022 will also have a more extensive exhibition list than other editions. Over 5,000 exhibitions have been confirmed from global companies and government entities. Companies like Nokia and AWS are set to make their first-ever representation at GITEX this year.
Record Participation:
While GITEX has constantly maintained a large audience, the 2022 edition is set to host record-breaking participation. There are estimations that GITEX 2022 will outperform previous editions by hosting a ground-breaking 4,500 companies and over 100,000 visitors. In preparation for this vast audience, three additional halls have been installed at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Thus, companies can expect to showcase their product to a vast global audience, while attendees can expect more networking opportunities.
New Events:
GITEX 2022 will feature two new events. They include Global DevSlam and X-Verse. Global DevSlam is a global tech event where developers can network and rub their minds on skill development. On the other hand, the X-Verse creates a simulation of the metaverse. It seeks to provide attendees with an immersive Web 3.0 experience. Attendees can access both events with a GITEX 2022 pass.
Every year, GITEX reinforces its position as one of the world’s largest and most reputable tech events. This year’s edition will be much more prominent from current indications, with numerous value propositions for participants.
