The Kingdom’s Communications, Space, and Technology Commission will co-host the Digital Technology Forum with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on October 18th.

Saudi Arabia’s Outstanding ICT Development

The development of Saudi Arabia’s information and communications technology sector is consistent with the objectives of its Vision 2030. The Kingdom’s ICT market reportedly hit a significant SR154 billion ($40.9 billion) in 2022, according to data made public by the CSTC.

The ICT sector in Saudi Arabia experienced numerous advancements in the same year. This included registering 600 companies for the first international spectrum auction, which sought to provide internet services throughout the airspace, with potential investment prospects of up to SR1 billion.

Additionally, as a result of the commission’s regulatory reforms, the number of ICT enterprises listed in the financial market reached 11, showcasing a 350 percent growth rate when compared to 2021.
