UAE Is the Top Relocation Option for Asian Tech Workers

UAE

The UAE’s Increasing Attraction as a World Tech Centre

The UAE is becoming more and more popular as a top destination for talent from around the world, with eight out of ten Asian tech workers seeing it as a rising force in the technology sector. The United Arab Emirates is directly competing with well-established tech hubs such as the United Kingdom, United States, and Singapore, according to a recent poll performed by Capital.com, one of the fastest-growing IT businesses in the Middle East.

High Interest in Relocation Among Asian IT Professionals

One thousand tech experts from Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and India participated in the poll, providing their opinions. According to the survey, around 45% of participants are thinking about moving to the United Arab Emirates to further their professions. This indicates the UAE’s growing appeal to Asian talent, positioning it above more established IT hubs like Germany and Hong Kong.

Taking on Well-Established Tech Hubs

The UAE is making great progress, even if the US, UK, and Singapore continue to rank among the top relocation destinations for tech personnel. According to the study, 46% of participants thought about relocating to Singapore, 57% favoured the UK, and 52% had their sights set on the US. On the other hand, the UAE’s quick ascent to fame suggests a change in the patterns of international talent movement.

One Important Aspect is Government Support

This rise is largely attributed to the UAE government’s aggressive promotion of the tech sector. Remarkably, 93% of poll participants stated that the government policies of the United Arab Emirates are essential to the development of a robust digital ecosystem. The UAE is now a desirable destination for individuals and companies searching for growth prospects thanks to this support.

Aesthetic Infrastructure and Life Quality

The advanced banking, immigration, healthcare, and real estate services offered by the UAE were also emphasised in the poll, with 74% of participants seeing them as major draws. Furthermore, significant reasons included the nation’s strategic geographic location, competitive pay, and high quality of life, as indicated by 60%, 54%, and 52% of respondents, respectively.

The Place of Capital.com in the UAE’s Tech Industry

Capital.com’s regional headquarters in Dubai has benefited directly from the pro-talent policies of the United Arab Emirates as part of the country’s #NextGenFDI initiative. Capital.com, which is governed and licensed by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) of the United Arab Emirates, has been effective in attracting talent from all over the world, including the UK, Europe, and Australia.

Possibilities for Additional Development

The UAE is well-positioned to draw a wider spectrum of tech workers, as seen by the 47% of respondents who are actively looking for new career opportunities. This offers the nation a great chance to maintain establishing itself as a major player in the global technological sector.
